Erica Martinez DNP, FNP-BC
Erica Martinez is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the co-founder of The Empress LA. She earned her nursing degree from West Coast University in 2015, became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020, and completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2023.
At The Empress LA, Erica provides injectable, laser, and regenerative treatments, and manages the practice’s medical weight loss and hormone therapy programs. Every treatment plan starts with a consultation, a review of your health history, and an honest conversation about what to expect.
Her focus is on results that still look like you — delivered safely, by a clinician.
Steven Freedman, MD
The Empress LA is under the physician oversight of medical director Steven Freedman, MD.
Dr. Freedman practiced as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist in private practice for more than 35 years. His work in aesthetics led him to found and manage a group of medical spas, and he has served as medical director across obstetrics, multi-specialty groups, hospitals, and clinics.
As a trainer for a major neurotoxin manufacturer, he brings particular depth in cosmetic injectables and laser resurfacing to the treatments performed at The Empress LA.
