The Empress Volume (Dermal Fillers)
Restoring radiance. Reclaiming fullness. Reawakening your essence. Empress Volume is our signature dermal filler experience designed to softly restore volume, lift the features, and harmonize the face with elegance, intention, and precision. Whether we’re enhancing the lips, replenishing cheeks, defining the jawline, or rebuilding areas of depletion, each treatment is a sacred sculpting of your unique beauty. We use advanced techniques and premium products, including HA fillers to ensure natural, radiant results that never overpower only enhance.
HOW IT WORKS: EMPRESS VOLUME
Most fillers we use are made of hyaluronic acid (HA) a substance your body already produces to hydrate, cushion, and volumize the skin. As we age, we lose collagen, bone density, and facial fat — especially in the cheeks, temples, lips, and jawline.
Filler works by restoring that volume, supporting the skin’s structure, and creating smoother, lifted, more radiant contours without changing who you are.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR EMPRESS VOLUME EXPERIENCE
Your Empress Volume journey begins with a 10 to 15-minute consultation and facial mapping, where we assess your natural structure, movement, and the way light reflects off your features. We’ll align your aesthetic vision, whether you’re seeking soft enhancement, subtle sculpting, or restorative volume and co-create a plan that honors your beauty and presence. The treatment itself takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Using advanced techniques with ultra-fine needles or cannulas, I gently place the filler exactly where it’s needed; lips, cheeks, jawline, or under-eyes; adjusting in real time to create harmony, symmetry, and smooth transitions. Afterward, we enter the refinement phase, where we assess the results, gently massage if needed, and offer calming rituals such as rose quartz rolling or cooling to seal in your glow. You’ll leave with personalized aftercare and everything you need to support your results. Your radiance will be visible immediately, with full refinement emerging as swelling subsides over the next 5 to 14 days. Most hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers last 9 to 18 months depending on the area and product, There’s no major downtime; just soft aftercare, embodied elegance, and the quiet power of your Empress energy taking shape.
FAQs
How much treatment will I need?
The amount of filler needed for your Empress Volume treatment will depend on your unique facial anatomy, aesthetic goals, and the area being treated. Most Empresses begin with 1 to 3 syringes for soft yet impactful enhancement. For lips, 0.5 to 1 syringe is typically enough to add natural fullness or definition. Cheeks often require 1 to 2 syringes per side to restore volume and lift, while sculpting the chin or jawline may call for 1 to 4 syringes depending on desired contour. During your consultation, I’ll assess your structure, movement, and symmetry to design a personalized plan that aligns with your vision; balancing beauty, harmony, and the sacred art of subtle transformation.
Does it hurt?
Not at all what most people expect I use a medical-grade numbing cream before we begin, so you’ll be as comfortable as possible throughout the entire treatment. Most clients describe the sensation as a light pinch or pressure, especially in more sensitive areas like the lips. But between the numbing, my gentle technique, and the soothing pace of the session, even first-timers are surprised by how easy and relaxed the experience feels. Plus, most dermal fillers contain lidocaine, which continues to numb the area as we treat. And if you need to take a moment, breathe, or hold a rose quartz this is your ritual. I move at your pace.
What's the Downtime?
There’s very little downtime after your Empress Volume treatment most clients return to their day right after their appointment. But because we’re working with the body, not against it, I always recommend giving yourself space to rest and integrate the shift.
You may experience some swelling, tenderness, or minor bruising in the treated areas especially lips and under-eyes. This is completely normal and typically resolves within 3–7 days. For most areas like cheeks or chin, the swelling is subtle and usually gone in 1–3 days.
I’ll guide you with post-care, and I always suggest planning your filler at least 1–2 weeks before any major events to allow your results to fully settle into your face and frequency.
And remember even as your face is resting, the energy is rising. This is your soft glow era.
How long do results last?
Your Empress Volume results will typically last between 9 to 18 months, depending on the area treated, the type of filler used, and how your body metabolizes the product. Lips often fade a bit faster, with results lasting around 9 to 12 months, while areas like the cheeks, chin, and jawline can maintain their definition for 12 to 18 months or more.
Every Empress’s timeline is unique, which is why I offer personalized plans to help you maintain your results with grace and natural evolution; most clients return once a year for a soft touch-up to stay in harmony with their radiance. As with any powerful beauty medicine, dermal fillers come with both beautiful results and important considerations.
Most Empresses experience only minor, temporary effects such as swelling, tenderness, or light bruising that resolve within a few days. However, it’s important to be aware that rare but more serious side effects can include infection, filler migration, nodules, or vascular complications.
Are there any side effects?
Yes as with any injectable ritual, Empress Volume may come with temporary signs that your body is integrating beauty at a deeper level. Common side effects include mild swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, especially in areas like the lips or under-eyes where the skin is delicate. These are typically subtle and fade within 3–7 days. You may also feel slight firmness or asymmetry in the first few days as the filler settles this is completely normal and part of the process. Rare but more serious risks include infection, nodules, vascular occlusion, or filler migration, which is why every Empress Volume treatment begins with a thorough consultation, facial harmony assessment, and precision placement. Your beauty is never rushed here; it’s honored, protected, and held in the highest regard.
Preparing for Your Empress Volume Appointment
To receive divine results, we honor divine preparation. Your Empress Volume treatment is a sacred blend of science and artistry, and your pre-care ritual helps ensure both safety and radiance. In the week leading up to your appointment, avoid NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen, Advil, aspirin, or naproxen, and discontinue supplements like fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and high-dose Vitamin E, as they can increase bruising risk. It’s also important to avoid dental appointments for two weeks before and after treatment to reduce any risk of bacteria-related complications. Three days before, pause retinoids, exfoliants, and active skincare like Retin-A or Tretinoin, and if you’re prone to bruising, consider taking Arnica tablets (with your provider’s approval). The day before your session, avoid alcohol, stay well-hydrated, and prioritize rest; your glow begins within. On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, eat a light meal to stay grounded, and wear comfortable clothing so you can fully relax. This is your moment to soften, restore, and rise in your beauty.
Post Care for Your Empress Volume Appointment
The treatment is complete now let your glow settle in with grace, stillness, and sovereignty. This is your integration phase, where subtle shifts take place beneath the surface. To protect your results and support a smooth, radiant recovery, it’s important to honor your post-treatment care with intention.
In the first 24 to 48 hours, please avoid applying makeup to the treated area, as this reduces the risk of infection. Refrain from touching your face unless you’re applying post-care products recommended specifically for you. Avoid extreme heat or cold exposure: including saunas, hot yoga, or ice treatments as these can affect the integrity of your results. Stay upright for at least four hours following your treatment to prevent unwanted filler migration, and sleep on your back for the next one to two nights to preserve symmetry. Intense workouts should be paused for 24 hours; gentle walking is perfectly fine and encouraged to support circulation without pressure.
If you’ve received lip filler, please avoid using straws, smoking, heavy kissing, or oral activity for up to two weeks, as these movements can disrupt healing and shift the filler. Swelling in the lips is often more noticeable and may last three to five days. Mild bruising is normal and will resolve on its own.
For the first two weeks post-treatment, avoid facials, facial massage, or any cosmetic procedures on the treated area. This gives your filler time to integrate naturally and beautifully. Keep your skincare gentle; hold off on retinoids, exfoliants, and harsh actives until your skin has fully settled. Hydration, both internal and external, is key.
And as always, your safety is sacred here. Please reach out to The Empress LA immediately if you experience severe or persistent pain, livedo reticularis (white or blotchy skin), signs of infection such as fever or increasing redness, or if anything feels off. You are never alone in this journey; and your radiance will always be supported with care.
